All orders placed before 2:30 pm will be shipped the same day (excluding livestock deliveries, which require a minimum of 24 hours' notice, depending on the location of your order), for next working day delivery, provided the item is in stock. Order processing days are Monday to Thursday (this includes LIVESTOCK). If your item is out of stock, we will contact you with a date the item will arrive. Should this not work for you, a refund will be issued. Once your order has been shipped, our overnight courier, DX, will contact you the morning of delivery via text message with a delivery time frame.
Livestock deliveries will be shipped via DX overnight courier service. DX is a licensed courier service that handles the fish with care. The livestock shipping service is available Monday through Thursday for the next day's pre-1pm service and is charged at £30 per box. Additional boxes are £15 per box.
Please note that all services rely on third-party couriers to deliver on time and in good order. We will, of course, do our best to ensure that your delivery arrives when stated at the time of purchase. However, we can not be held liable for delays caused by the delivery company.
Someone must be present to sign for livestock. We cannot be held responsible for DOA when the delivery was attempted, and you were not home to sign for the box; livestock is sent at the buyers' risk, and Exclusively Koi will not be held accountable for damage caused to livestock during transit.
If there is DOA fish, we must receive photographic evidence before the bag is opened as proof of DOA via email info@exclusivelykoi.co.uk within 1 hour of delivery. In the event of this, we will offer you a like-for-like replacement based on the price of your order or issue you a credit note of the same value. All livestock will packaged with care and inspected before packing to make sure they're fit for travel. In the event of a claim with us, a courier charge will be applied to rectify any DOA orders or replacements as this is a service you, the buyer, are requesting.
Please also provide a photo of the box or packaging damage should a claim against the couriers be required.
Since shipping naturally causes stress to fish, we kindly request that you allow a period of time for the fish to settle.
