Kondo is most famous for Goshiki. If you’re after deep, dark reticulation with solid red and a thick body line, this is the farm to look at. Goshiki here tend to hold colour well and develop slowly. Ideal for long-term keepers and show fish.

Selection focuses on clarity within heavy reticulation. We prioritise koi where the red remains strong and defined, sitting cleanly against the darker base.

Colour stability is critical, with preference given to fish that will maintain contrast rather than become overly dark.

Body shape is a key factor, with Kondo fish often carrying strong frames that support long-term development.
