Product description
These Muji Mix tosai from Momotaro Koi Farm showcase a refined selection of single-color and lightly accented metallic varieties.
The group displays soft platinum, pale gold, and light bronze tones, with some individuals showing subtle head markings or gentle shading that adds character while maintaining the clean muji aesthetic. Scale alignment is neat and consistent, with emerging fukurin visible on several fish, creating depth and texture beneath the smooth metallic sheen.
Body shapes are streamlined and well-proportioned for tosai, with balanced tail tubes and clear, symmetrical pectoral fins. As they mature, the metallic luster and skin quality are expected to intensify, enhancing their understated elegance and overall presence in the pond.
Overwintering is available till the end of March 31st 2026.

10 months agoMost impressed with Exclusively Koi. Recieved a Columbo pond test kit from them which was sealed and very well wrapped. On opening the inner tray that holds the bottles was very damaged. They offered to replace kit straight away. Customer service second to none. Thank you.

1 year agoWe visited Exclusively koi for the first time today and I cannot praise Kevin enough. He has the highest customer service and is extremely personable and had time to talk to us and gave so much advice and information it was an absolute delight. He knows his subject and is driven by supplying the best quality not only in the fish but also in other stock items and food. The prices were excellent and he is very, very fair and customer oriented. His information was straightforward and honest and I highly recommend Exclusively koi to anyone. We will be going back and Kevin and the team will be our go-to for all our koi needs from now on.

1 year agoI came across Exclusively Koi by complete chance as i was looking up koi auctions online and I was lucky enough to find Kevin's fantastic koi up for auction. I took part in some of those auctions and was fortunate enough to win some beautiful koi, Kevin has been very helpful throughout the entire process and was happy to keep the koi for me a bit longer to suit my needs. The koi got shipped out on my chosen day and they arrived the next day very safely packaged with plenty of air. Each koi is even more beautiful in person and they're bigger than i expected which is a very pleasant surprise. The koi are currently dealing with some stress from the long journey here but Kevin is very quick to answer any of my questions and offer advice to help the koi get settled in. Very grateful for the great customer service and i can definitely see myself emptying my entire bank account at Exclusively Koi. I decided to attend the national Koi show today, I was pleasantly surprised to see exclusively koi had a stall at the show! Dare I say they had some of the nicest koi for sale but even more importantly the prices were extremely reasonable! If I had the room I would have easily bought several koi. Massive thanks to the team, keep up the good work

How can I contact customer support if I have any issues or questions?
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our customer support team via email or phone. We’re here to help with everything from advice on koi care to any issues with your order.
Can Koi be kept with other fish?
Yes, koi can be kept with other fish, but it’s important to choose compatible species. Koi generally do well with larger, non-aggressive fish like goldfish and some varieties of pond fish. Avoid smaller, delicate fish that koi might see as food or more aggressive species that could stress or injure your koi.
How are the koi shipped safely?
We take extra care to ensure your koi arrive healthy and stress-free. Each fish is carefully double bagged with fresh packing water, oxygen and placed in a sturdy shipping box, and shipped overnight via DX our licensed couriers.
We ship Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursdays for next day delivery, ensuring the safest journey for your koi.

How fast do koi grow?
Koi grow at varying rates depending on their environment, diet, and genetics. On average, koi can grow about 10-20cm per year in basic ponds, where as some koi can grow 30-40cm a year in a higher quality ponds especially if they’re fed high-quality food like Saki-Hikari Growth. This is depending on the variety and care they receive.
What are the different types of Koi available?
Koi come in a wide variety of types and patterns. Some of the most popular varieties include Kohaku (white with red markings), Showa (black with red and white), Sanke (white with red and black), and Asagi (blue-grey with red underbelly). We offer a range of types, so you can find koi that suit your pond and aesthetic preferences.
What do I do if my Koi looks stressed after shipping?
If your koi appears stressed after shipping, give them time to adjust. Float the sealed bag in your pond for 20-30 minutes to let them acclimate to the water temperature. Gradually add small amounts of pond water to the bag before gently releasing them. It’s normal for koi to be a little lethargic at first. Monitor them closely and avoid feeding for the first 24 hours to reduce stress.
Ensure the water parameters are correct, minimise handling, and provide a calm environment. Stressed Koi often recover after a few days. The health of our fish is important to us, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns upon receipt of your Koi.
What should I look for in a reputable Koi dealer?
A reputable koi dealer should have a strong track record, healthy fish, and transparent practices. Look for a dealer who prioritises the health of their koi, offers proper care advice, and has good customer reviews. Ideally, they should also have strong ties to Japanese breeders and an understanding of koi genetics. Trust your instincts — if the fish or facilities don’t look right, it’s best to look elsewhere.
What water conditions are best for Koi?
Koi thrive in water with a pH between 7.0 and 8.5, and temperatures around 65-75°F. It’s important to maintain high water quality, with zero ammonia and nitrites and low nitrate levels. Stable water parameters and good filtration are key. Regular testing of pH, ammonia, and other water quality factors is crucial for maintaining a healthy environment for your koi.
